STANDARD L/H DACHSHUND 

PG (2,0):  1. Lumley’s Dagstren Martha My Dear 17-month red bitch with a good head and feminine expression. Good front and decent shoulders. Topline held both on the move and on the stack and moved out well albeit slightly narrow at times. BOB. 2. Nalk’s Humberdax Turbulent Sky 17-month chocolate dapple dog of smaller type than 1 and did not have the front angulation of 1.  In good coat and moved well showing good rear drive and holding topline. 

O (3,1): 1. Lumley’s Tarramist Tzarine 6-year-old red bitch of heavy build. Good front, head and expression but I found her a little upright in shoulder so front movement was not as good and topline not as strong as I would have liked.  She did however show good rear drive. 2. Nalk’s Humberdax Turbulent Sky

Open (3,2):  1. Chance & Dodds’ Dotland Pink Gin A lovely dark shaded red 14-month bitch with much to like about her.  Nice head and expression and a good front.  Balanced angulation giving good drive on the move. Very elegant. BOB

MINIATURE L/H DACHSHUND 

PG (2,0):  1. Bell’s Tolberg La Di Da 14-month black and tan bitch of good overall construction.  Lovely head and expression, good front and balanced angulation.  She moved well with good rear drive and holding a strong topline on the move and on the stack.  BOB  2. Bell’s Tolberg Songbird 7-month cream bitch with excellent pigmentation.  Feminine head and correct eye.  Angulation is good but just needs to settle a bit in movement.  Very promising BP 

O (2,0):  1. Bell’s Tolberg Amber Alert 2-and-a-half-year-old red bitch of good size.  A lovely head into an elegant neck and good shoulders balanced by the rear angulation to give good movement and a strong topline.  2. Bell’s Ch Tolberg Cream Treat JW ShCM Cream bitch of lovely shape.  Feminine head and lovely dark eye.  Good angulation but didn’t seem fully settled today and although moving well was a little wide at the rear and topline not as good as 1. 

MINIATURE S/H DACHSHUND 

PG (2,2):   

O (3,1):  1. Bell’s Tolberg Jelly Tot 9-month black and Tan bitch of lovely size.  Fabulous feminine head and eye, strong prosternum and good reach of neck.  Excellent angulation and good ribbing. Moved well with good drive and holding topline both on the move and on the stack. BOB, BP and delighted to see her go RBIS and BPIS  2. Bell’s Tolberg Liquorice Torpedo Litter brother to 1 and much of the same comments apply but on the day I just preferred the overall balance of the bitch. These places could easily have changed, it was a difficult decision as these are two quality puppies with lots of promise, I shall watch their progress with interest.
