I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at this well run show. I would like to thank the exhibitors for entering under me and accepting my decisions, I enjoyed my day.

Golden Retriever (Dogs)

P(0,0) J (0,0), PG (1,1) Coulstock & Williams’ Cwmtaff Jack The Lad at Pantegparish, 3 year old golden boy, with a nice head with kind expression, good angulation with a good amount of leg, good topline and tail set and carriage, moved ok. O (2,1) 1 Williams’ Thornywait Full Monty, 2 year old mid golden boy. Pleasing head and expression. Strong neck sitting on well laid shoulders, leading down straight front legs standing on catlike feet. A great front assembly that is matched at the rear. Super topline, which is always maintained. Short coupled. Good tailset and carriage. Can be a bit erratic on the move been when he settles moves with positive reach and drive. BD and with co-judges agreement BOB. 2 Nicholls’ Largymore You’re My World, 3 year old, dark golden boy. Masculine head with a kind eye, place on a nice neck leading into good shoulders. Straight well boned legs, find him a bit narrow in the chest. Level topline with correct tailset and carriage, which is maintained on the move. Moved well just didn’t have the drive and power of 1.

Flatcoat Retrievers

P(1,1) 1 Simons’ Coedylan Martini Night, 7 month old bitch, very pretty and feminine head, with a soft gentle expression. Straight front legs, nicely angulated front with rear to match. Good topline, nice strong hocks. Moved well. BP. J (1,1) 1 Simons’ Coedylan Martini Night PG (2,0) 1 Simons’ Rainesgift Royal Mint I Coedylan JW, 2 year old bitch. Pretty, and intelligent expression, well laid shoulders, good topline which she maintain while on the move, leading on to a well set tail which she used while on the move. Moved well with good drive from her well muscled back end. BOB. 2 Milner’s Parkcarid King of the Ocean, 3 year old male. Masculine head with a gentle expression, well laid shoulders good angulation on the front which matched the rear. A nicely proportioned boy with a good top line and tail set. Moved ok. RBOB. O (0,2)

Chesapeake Bay Retriever

J (0,0) PG (0,0) O (1,0) 1 Davies-Jones’ Dallandor Jocasta 2 year old bitch, Pleasing bitch with a compact well boned frame. Pretty expression with pleasing eye. Srong neck placed onto well-laid shoulders. Correct topline and tailset. Used her well muscled backend to move with drive around the ring. BOB.

Large Munsterlander

J (1,0) 1 Carr’s Quilesta Simply Astounding, and that he was. This 7 month old dog oozed breed type. Masculine head with a soft expression. strong neck leading down on to well laid shoulders. Good topline and tail set and carriage. Moved well for one so young. Although he stood alone a very worthy winner, look forward to watching his future. BP and BOB PG (0,0) O (0,0)
